Sisterhood Sisterhood of Temple Emanuel, an integral part of our congregation, is affiliated with the National Women's League for Conservative Judaism. We support the ideas and practices of Conservative Judaism in our homes, synagogue, and community.
Members span diverse interests, ages, and backgrounds. Programs are designed to enhance personal growth, Jewish involvement, and feeling of community in a relaxed social atmosphere. We provide both moral and financial support to our synagogue, Jewish as well as local charities, and the Jewish Theological Seminary.
Our main emphasis is the continuity of Conservative Judaism. We support our youth from infancy through high school with our:
Monthly Morning Out for Moms
Early Childhood Program
Israel scholarships and Jewish camp stipends for qualifying students
