Our Philosophy:

The Temple Emanuel Early Childhood Program is grounded in a developmental philosophy. Our approach is based on the belief that a young child learns best through exploration, experimentation and sensory experiences. We focus on giving our children a strong foundation on which to grow socially, emotionally, academically and spiritually, providing them with the tools necessary to be successful in their education for years to come. Temple membership is not required to enroll in our school.  We welcome interfaith families and have much experience in understanding the unique needs of interfaith families and children.

We believe in teaching children
in fun and unique ways,
instilling them with a love of learning
from the very beginning.

The secret to our successful program is two-fold: our ability to individualize each child’s learning and our ability to teach each child how to think critically. We maintain low teacher to student ratios.

ECP Teaching Our Formula:
Individualize Learning
and Promote
Critical Thinking

Our teachers pride themselves on giving each student one-on-one time. By getting to know every child, our staff is able to focus on each child’s abilities and interests. This individualized attention also helps our teachers identify learning issues as well as foster high functioning abilities. We are fortunate to have extremely experienced teachers who are continually learning the latest trends in early childhood education and implementing new teaching techniques.

Through both the individual and group time
with our teachers, children are taught to think critically.
Our children are active participants in solving problems
and are encouraged to think creatively in their responses
and solutions.

Their words are valued and validated by our teachers in a way that gives each child the confidence needed to develop their critical thinking ability – a skill vital to their long-term academic success.
